I post on installing ColdFusion Builder 2.0.1 beta and Mylyn. This post will show how to test it is working.

create new local task

active task &

ctrl-shift-r to open resource, and type application, select application.cfc

show Application.cfc in navigator and mylyn context

toggle off focus on navigator view

It seems to be working. Currently Mylyn only supports File level context support for ColdFusion Builder. In a recorded presention "CFMeetup: Improve your workflow within ColdFusion Builder", I have mentioned CFB could have more context enhancements.

Cool. Still wondering why I couldn't get Mylyn to show up in the official CF Builder standalone. Going to ask in Adobe forum about this issue and if anyone ran into the problem I had.

By the way, while downloading Eclipse for J2EE, I noticed that there was a version for testers, Downloaded that version and am evaluating it for potential use by my business partner, who is handling bug testing and filing report of issues that she comes across (I am too, but she's responsible for touching base with our beta users). We use Redmine and I know she accesses it through the web browser. But sometimes you just want to get a report file quickly and I like to use Mylyn for that purpose and only really go into the web browser for admin purposes. The Tester version seems easy enough that someone who is computer literate but not a programmer could handle it.

Eclipse packages options have exploded recently. I didn't know about the tester package. Sounds cool. Also, you might look at Tasktop standone http://tasktop.com/support/download it is the "DOWNLOAD APPLICATION" columns on the link provided and probably the "Pro Edition" is good enough.

Yeah, I checked it out a while back (really like the Gmail integration), but I don't have the $$ at the moment to afford buying it.
